Questions about a restoration, your credits, a refund or your data. A person reads every message and we aim to reply within one business day.
Before you write in
The questions support receives most often, answered in full. If yours is not here, the form above reaches a person.
How long does it take to get a reply?
A person reads every message and we aim to reply within one business day. Messages sent over a weekend are usually answered on Monday. The reply goes to the email address you type into the form, so it is worth checking that address for a typo before sending, and worth glancing at your spam folder if a day passes with nothing. If your question is about a specific restoration or purchase, including the date or the invoice number lets us find it on the first pass instead of writing back to ask.
My download did not start. What now?
Try it again from your history page. Every restoration is kept for 30 days from the moment it is created, so a result that failed to download is still there and re-downloading it costs no credits. If the file still does not arrive, tell us which browser you are using and roughly when you made the restoration, and we will pull the file and send it to you directly.
The AI added colour to my black and white photo. Can I stop that?
Yes. The Restore style is allowed to colourise, because for most faded prints that is what people are hoping for. If you want the original tones kept, run the photo through Cleanup or Enhance instead: both repair damage, noise and fading without inventing colour. Colorize is the opposite choice, for when you deliberately want a black and white or sepia photo brought into full colour.
How do credits and billing work?
Every pack is a one-time purchase and never a subscription, so there is nothing that renews and nothing to cancel. Credits do not expire: a half-used pack simply waits in your account until the next batch of photos. One credit covers one restoration in any style. Packs run from Basic at $6.99 for 10 restorations up to Max at $109.99 for 250, and new accounts include 2 free restorations so you can judge the results before paying anything.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases are final, except where consumer law in your country says otherwise, and the free restorations on every new account exist so you can test the quality before spending money. That said, if you were charged twice, charged for credits that never appeared, or charged in error in any other way, write to us and we will put it right. Pick "Billing, credits or refund" as the topic and include the date of the charge.
How long are my photos kept, and who can see them?
Originals and restored versions are stored privately on Cloudflare R2 for 30 days from creation, then permanently and automatically deleted. You can also delete any single restoration from your history at any time. We never share your photos with third parties and never use them to train AI models. Because deletion after 30 days is permanent and irreversible, download and back up anything you want to keep.
How do I delete my account or request my data?
You can delete your account yourself from the settings page, which removes your account data and your photos. For anything else covered by GDPR, such as a copy of your data, a correction, or a restriction on processing, send the request through this form with "Privacy or data request" as the topic. We respond to data subject requests within 30 days, and usually far sooner.
A restoration came back wrong. Will you redo it?
Write in and describe what went wrong, and include the date of the restoration so we can find it. Some results improve a lot simply by switching style, so it helps to tell us which one you used. Where the output genuinely failed rather than merely disappointed, we will look at the job on our side and sort the credit out with you. Being upfront about the limits: the AI rebuilds detail the original no longer holds, so a very small or badly damaged face comes back as an educated reconstruction rather than a perfect copy.
Do you handle partnerships, press or API access?
Yes. Send it through the form with "Something else" as the topic and a line about what you have in mind. If you are building on top of the service, the developers page documents the API first, and it may answer the question before you write. Press enquiries reach the same inbox and get the same one business day target.
Can I email you instead of using the form?
You can. The support address is published further up this page behind a single click, which keeps it out of reach of the scrapers that harvest addresses from plain HTML. It reaches exactly the same inbox as the form. The form is still the faster route for a problem with a specific photo, because the topic you pick routes the message and the fields prompt you for the details we would otherwise have to ask for.
